As a non-profit entity, CDAC’s mission is to reduce the burden of government by helping the government deliver infrastructure and social services. We do that through partnership with municipalities, governments, and institutes of higher education to own and operate property—serving as the property’s owner, asset manager, and borrower of record for debt. From new construction to the acquisition of existing projects, from new bonds to recapitalization and renovation of an asset, CDAC ensures each project meets stakeholder objectives through long-term asset management and cost-effective financing with appropriate risk allocation.
As the non-profit owner CDAC is responsible for:
- Submitting financing applications
- Overseeing legal and organizational setup for the project entity
- Participating in document negotiations
- Managing bank accounts
- Supervising third-party consultants
- Handling tax exemption processes
- Ensuring compliance with all project-related documents
- Maintaining records
- Monitoring construction contracts and requisitions
- Excellent operations and maintenance of the asset
